Have You Received This Message On Facebook? – Do Not Click On It


A new virus is spreading across facebook which automatically send messages to all your friends through Facebook messenger. The message contains the name of the recipient, a smiley and a link to a video.
By clicking that link, you will be forwarded to a page containing a video clip. If you click that video clip, you will be forwarded to a fake youtube page. Here you will be asked to install a plugin in your chrome browser.
By installing the plugin, you will give the hackers access to your Facebook profile and the message will be spread across your friends.
If you have opened that link here is what you should do:
1.Remove the plugin from Google Chrome browser.
              To remove this , Settings -> More Tools -> Extensions. Remove the extension you just installed.
2.Or else you should reset Google Chrome setting, Go to settings -> Advanced -> Reset
3.Change your password on Facebook as soon as possible.
4.If the message is spread across your network, request your friends also to do the same.
